We are excited to announce that buffalo now roam the prairie at the Seven Sons farm! These impressive beasts can stand up to 6 foot tall at the shoulders and will weigh over 2,000 pounds. The race is on... A new flock of hens will be moved out to pasture tomorrow and we're working hard to get their new mobile shelter ready! This is a new innovative design not seen on many pasture-based farms yet in the USA. At Seven Sons we're always implementing new concepts to help pioneer the movement of pasture-based farming.

The below photo shows our pasture-raised laying hens grazing in fresh green pastures. The large trailer is equipped with automatic pressure regulated waters, access to our non-GMO feed as well as roll out nest boxes for hens to lay their wonderful eggs. The netting you see surrounding the area is to protect from ground predators such as raccoons, coyotes, minks and other varmints who might be looking for a chicken dinner. The geese stay with the chickens to help fend off any aerial predators.
