As more folks turn to Seven Sons for their food needs this has put us in a unique position to help our fellow regenerative farms through expanded partnerships. Coming together with like-minded farms during this time is critical for us to continue serving our customers.
Each farm that we partner with must already meet the standards we practice for the compassionate and ethical care of their livestock while maintaining our strict 100% grass-fed beef & pasture-raised production standards.
This means cattle that are never fed grain or grain by-products and never given antibiotics, fed drugs or artificial hormones. Pork and poultry must maintain the same standards while being fed grain diets consisting of only Non-GMO feeds.
Our partnership with the Gunthorp Farms has extended for nearly 2 decades and we consider the Gunthorp Family not only be a synergistic partner but also great friends and mentors as well.
Gunthorps Farms has supplied quality pasture-raised chicken to the customers of Seven Sons for many years and we're now glad to partner with them for our pasture-raised pork products as well.
Gunthorp Farms raises pastured pigs, chickens, turkeys, and ducks and they harvest these animals on their very own small-scale USDA inspected meat processing plant located right on their farm.
In addition to working with Seven Sons, they also distribute their meat products to some of the finest white tablecloth restaurants in the Midwest including Frontera Grill and Joseph Decuis, among others.
We met both David and Mariah and their family when they chose to visit our farm several years ago to learn about our regenerative farming models.
Now several years later, we're happy to say that they have successfully started their own regenerative farm just 8 hours from our farm in Missouri.
David and Mariah have begun raising pastured chickens for Seven Sons and we are delighted to have them as a trusted farm partner.
Marksbury Farm Market opened in Lancaster, Kentucky in August 2010, filling a pressing need in Kentucky’s fast-growing local food economy.
Over the last 10 years, we've had the opportunity to meet and visit with the fine folks at Marksbury Farms and our operations have always shared an unwavering commitment to raising delicious sustainably raised food.
We are proud to partner with the farmers at Marksbury who share in our mutual commitment to land stewardship, animal welfare, and the highest quality standards to bring products to your dinner table.
Marksbury currently helps provide us with 100% grass-fed beef and pastured pork.

We first met the owners of Joyce Farms along with Dr. Allen Williams at a regenerative farming conference nearly 10 years ago. Since then we have continued to admire the work that Joyce Farms is doing to further the movement of regenerative agriculture.
Dr. Allen Williams serves as the Cheif Ranching Officer for Joyce Farms and since 2017 he has also served Seven Sons in an official advisory and mentorship role.
At the direction of Dr. Allen Williams, Joyce Farms uses regenerative agriculture techniques to improve the health of the land, repairing the damage done by years of industrial agricultural practices.
