Our summer sausage is sugar-free and has very few ingredients to prolong the shelf life. The only ingredients are beef, spices, and citric acid.
This meat usually pairs well with cheese and crackers. The best pairings are with mild cheeses and crackers that will complement but not overpower the flavor of the meat. Mild cheeses, such as Gouda, Monterrey, Colby Jack, or Cheddar, are perfect to pair with it. Mild crackers such as saltines or soda are also a great pairing.
