This Upside Down Pizza is a family favorite at our house.
It’s fast, easy, and farm kid approved!
Gluten Free Upside Down Pizza
Prep time: 15 minutes
Bake time: 35 minutes
1 lb ground beef
1 15 oz jar of pizza sauce
8 ounces grated Mozzarella cheese
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup gluten free flour blend
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef, add salt to taste.
Mix the pizza sauce into the ground beef.
Pour ground beef mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle with grated Mozzarella cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil, and flour.
Pour batter over the meat and cheese mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Note: You can also add peppers, onions, mushrooms, or any vegetable you would like to the meat mixture.
