We’re proud to be among a growing number of regenerative farms that ship direct. If you’re living in the continental US, you have several options for regenerative meat delivery.
Staples like ground beef range from $13.00 to $14.99 per pound, but that doesn’t tell you the full cost of an order.
Free-shipping thresholds, for the farms that publish them, range from $149 to $249, and delivery fees below those thresholds aren’t always shown before checkout.
To help you compare, we pulled every figure we could find from each farm’s own website during October 2026 and put them side by side, ours included. Below, you'll see who ships where, and what it costs to get an order to your door.
Key Takeaways
All seven farms in this comparison ship directly to the continental US. The table shows where each farm delivers, what you’ll spend before shipping’s on the house, what it costs below that, and the smallest order it’ll take. We checked every farm’s website, including ours, during October 2026.

Among regenerative farms that ship direct, free-delivery thresholds run from $149 at Grass Roots to $249 at White Oak Pastures. At Seven Sons, free shipping kicks in when your order reaches $225. REP Provisions sets the threshold at $175, and Force of Nature at $189. Primal Pastures publishes its $239 threshold for California addresses only, and Wild Pastures keeps its terms inside the member area.
Things get more complicated when comparing shipping costs below the threshold. Force of Nature, REP Provisions, and Seven Sons are the few farms that list a flat fee that applies to every address. Primal Pastures lists one for California only. Grass Roots calculates its fee at checkout, and White Oak Pastures adds a handling fee to the carrier's rate on smaller orders.
Another factor is the order minimum, which can be easy to miss until checkout. At Seven Sons, we're the only farm in this comparison with a published order minimum: $175.
Ground regenerative beef runs from $13.00 to $14.99 a pound across the farms that publish a price. We compared ground beef because every farm here sells it by the pound, so the prices line up without any guesswork. Each figure is the farm's listed one-time price, converted to a per-pound price where the pack isn't 1 lb.
The blends differ, though, and a 90/10 grind costs more to produce than an 80/20. So treat the price column as a guide, not an exact match.

Several farms run sales or bulk deals on regenerative meat, but not all of them do, so we stuck to standard one-time prices. If you order from us regularly, Subscribe & Save takes 5% off every order and includes a free item with each one. You can swap items, skip a delivery, or cancel whenever you need to.
Shipping can add up to $5 a pound to a small order, while a large order that clears the free-delivery threshold costs the listed price per pound. Every farm prices shipping differently, so the table below runs two orders through each farm's published terms: a basket just over $250, compared with a smaller order of 8 lb of ground beef. The cost-per-pound columns show what you'd pay once shipping is added.

Wild Pastures isn't in this table because its prices are visible only to members.
In addition to order size, your location affects the per-pound cost of an order at many of the farms we compared. For example, White Oak Pastures' free shipping applies only where ground shipping reaches, and Primal Pastures offers free shipping only in California. REP Provisions also adds a surcharge for some ZIP codes.
On a small order, three of the farms in this table don't publish enough information to total it before checkout for most addresses. Force of Nature and REP Provisions are the two where you can work out the full cost ahead of time almost anywhere in the continental US.
If you usually order just a few items at a time, our $175 order minimum is worth knowing about. Ordering 14 lbs of our 100% grass-fed and grass-finished ground beef gets you there for $182.00, and with the $14.99 delivery fee, that's $14.07 a pound. Spend $225, and you get free delivery to many states on qualified orders.
There are two main ways to get regenerative beef delivered. Buy straight from a farm, pick every item, and usually see every price before you commit. Order from a subscription box company, and they’ll typically send a curated selection on a schedule.
So which one’s for you? It mostly depends on how your family eats. If you know which cuts disappear fastest from your freezer, or you’d rather order when you’re running low than on a set schedule, buying direct could be your fit. If you like having someone else plan the variety, a box takes that job off your plate.
Whichever way you go, ask three questions before you order. Can you pick each item yourself, or does someone pick for you? Do you need a subscription just to place an order? And can the company tell you how the animals were actually raised, beyond a label like grass-fed or regenerative, and name the farms it buys from?
Here’s how we answer those. We’re an active family farm in Indiana, and we work alongside carefully vetted partner farms who meet the same standards we do.You build your order one item at a time, whether that’s a freezer full of the staples your family loves or a few ethically raised cuts you’ve been meaning to try. And if you like regular deliveries, Subscribe & Save is there when you want it, and you can swap items, skip a delivery, or cancel any time.
The term “regenerative” doesn’t come with federal rules and inspections like the term “organic” does. In short, a farm is regenerative when its practices rebuild soil health over time. But what does that really mean when anyone can put it on a package, whether they’re talking about every acre they manage or one practice on one field? The best way to check is to read what the farm publishes.
Alongside our partner farms, cattle move through rotational grazing, so each paddock gets months to rest and regrow before the herd comes back. We’ve watched it heal farmland: our soil now holds four to six times as many earthworms as when we started, it holds water better, and our pastures grow more forage without synthetic fertilizers. Practices like this create the nutrient-dense pastures that our cattle thrive on.
If a farm sells regenerative agriculture meat, it should be glad to answer these questions:
We deliver across the continental US, and our terms are simple: a $175 order minimum, a $14.99 delivery fee on orders under $225, and free delivery to many states on qualified orders of $225 or more.
Whether you select your own favorite cuts or choose from our curated bundles, your order arrives frozen and vacuum-sealed in BPA-free packaging. Our home delivery details explain how we pack, ice, and ship each box.
Every figure on this page comes from each farm's own website as checked in October 2026. We've listed our own $225 free shipping threshold, minimum order size, and flat-fee shipping right alongside everyone else's numbers.
We left prices as listed for a staple product like ground beef, rather than adjusting for the specific differences such as lean ratio, quality, or how it was raised. One grind doesn't convert neatly into another, and farms have varying degrees of transparency about their practices. Where we’ve listed "Not published," the farm doesn't state that figure. We checked every detail, though Wild Pastures shows most of its terms only to members.
Prices, thresholds, and shipping fees change often. We'll recheck every farm every few months and update this page, but be sure to confirm current terms on each farm's site before you order.
The lowest price per pound doesn’t always mean the lowest cost at your door, or the best value for your family. Start with what matters most to you.
If you stock up in big orders, compare per-pound prices, since you’ll likely clear the free-delivery threshold. If you order a few things at a time, check the delivery fee for your address first. And if how the animals are raised matters as much as price, take the time to read what each farm publishes.
We'd love to fill your freezer with ethically raised meat, but we'd rather you pick the farm that fits. If that’s us, choose Subscribe & Save at checkout for 5% off every order and a free item with every delivery, and swap, skip, pause, or cancel if needed.
Thinking about stocking up in bulk? Our guide to what a half cow costs can tell you if it’s worth it. And if chicken’s next on your list, our guide to choosing ethically raised chicken can help with that too.
Every farm we compared delivers to all 48 states in the continental US. Shipping costs can still vary by address, so check each farm's terms with your ZIP code before you start building a cart.
Six of the seven farms we compared publish a ground beef price, starting at $13.00 and topping out at $14.99 a pound in October 2026. The blends aren't identical because fat content changes from farm to farm.
That comes down to what you value and what you pay now. Compare a farm's per-pound price with your usual ground beef, then add shipping for the order you'd really place, because a large order can clear the delivery fee entirely.
Grass-fed describes what cattle eat, while regenerative describes how the land is managed over time. Our beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, no grain ever, and our guide to grass-fed vs. grass-finished beef explains how those two labels differ.
No. You can place a one-time order with any farm we compared, though one asks you to create an account before it shows prices. If you'd like regular deliveries from us, you can add Subscribe & Save at checkout.
Our boxes are packed to stay frozen the whole trip. Insulation keeps heat out, a vapor liner limits airflow, and extra dry ice keeps your order cold for at least 24 hours after it reaches your door.
It can be, but only the total at your door tells you for sure. Compare the per-pound price with the shipping fee and any order minimum, because a lower listed price can end up costing more once delivery is added.
Start with the farm's own website, since no official label defines regenerative. A farm that explains how it raises animals, says who raises them, and welcomes visitors is giving you something real to check.
No. Every farm in our comparison limits delivery to the lower 48 states, and each one says so in its own shipping terms, so orders bound for Alaska or Hawaii can't be placed.
Order more at once to get free delivery. In our comparison, a basket just over $250 cleared every published free-delivery threshold, while an 8 lb order added shipping costs at every farm where a total could be worked out ahead of time.
