Easy Lemon Butter Cod Recipe

Ingredients
- (2-4) Atlantic Cod Filets
- (2 TBS) Avocado Oil
- (1 TBS) Sea Salt
- (1 TBS) Ground Black Pepper
- (1/4 Cup) Grass-fed Butter
- (from one lemon) Lemon Juice
- (2 TBS) Fresh Parsley
- (2 TBS) Fresh Thyme
Directions
- Pat filets completely dry and season liberally on both sides with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- Combine soften butter and chopped fresh herbs to a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
- Heat avocado oil in a large non-stick skillet. Add in the filets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until opaque and flaky in the center. Transfer to a plate when fully cooked.
- Reduce heat to low and add the butter herb mixture to the skillet. Stir in the lemon juice. Season to taste.
- Pour the lemon butter sauce over the filets and serve!
