Homemade Ground Beef Casserole

When you grow up in a large family, casseroles become a staple dish for dinner. They are quick and easy to make, and can be made out of whatever few ingredients you have on hand. This recipe only calls for a few simple, budget-friendly ingredients, yet it's loaded with flavour!

Ingredients
- (10.5 oz can) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- (1/2 cup) Heavy Cream
- (1/2 cup) Sour Cream
- (3 cups) Golden Potatoes (fresh or frozen)
- (1 cup (divided)) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- (1 tbs) Salt
- (to taste) Ground Black Pepper
- (2 lbs.) Ground Beef
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Bring a skillet to medium heat and cook the ground beef until cooked through. Drain any excess grease, then add to a large mixing bowl.
- Add all of the other ingredients - cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, sour cream, potatoes, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper - and mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a 9"x13" baking dish, sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top, cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
