Start summer off early this year with this simple to make sirloin steak salad! Using only the freshest organic ingredients and grass-fed beef from Seven Sons Farm, this is a healthy meal you will feel good about serving your family!
Special Equipment Used:
Gas or Charcoal Grill
Cara Cara Orange Vinaigrette:
4 - tbs Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 - tbs White Balsamic Vinegar (Cara Cara flavored used in this recipe)
1 - Mandarin Orange Juiced
Salt and Pepper to taste
Ingredients:
2 - 4 tbs Organic Olive Oil for steak
Salt and Pepper to taste for steak
Organic Romaine Lettuce
Organic Spinach
Shredded or Sliced Organic Carrots
Organic Strawberries
Organic Blueberries
Organic Dried Cranberries
Organic Fuji Apple
Sunflower Seeds
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Preparation:
Step 1 - Prepare as much lettuce as needed for how many people you will be serving. Dice/Chop the other ingredients that you plan to use on the salad
Step 2 - Season the steak with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Grill steak until your preferred doneness is achieved. Allow steak to rest 10 minutes before slicing
Step 3 - Assemble salad and place sliced steak over the top
Step 4 - Whisk together the ingredients for the vinaigrette dressing and drizzle over the top of the salad
Serve and enjoy!!!
