Sometimes in life, relationships with friends can develop so slowly overtime that you don't realize the meaningfulness and fondness that a person represents in your life. This week we were reminded of such a person who had become a dear friend of our family. On Monday Oct 10th we received the unexpected news that our dear friend Joe Eisenhauer passed away at his farm in Andrews, IN.
Many of you reading this post would've met Joe when picking up your orders at many of our delivery locations. Not only did Joe help deliver your orders, but he also provided the horse-drawn wagon tours that many of you would have experienced at our past farm festivals. Joe was a true farmer at heart and he truly appreciated the mission of our farm. In addition to a full time job and his involvement at Seven Sons, Joe was an avid chicken farmer, cheese maker, hog roasting master and skilled coachman.
Joe was a faithful husband, loving father and grandfather. Joe believed in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and we can attest that his belief was evident in his daily life.
Joe will be dearly missed by us and so many others who were touched by his kindred spirit, warm heart and helping hands. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16
