How We Use Pasture Laying Hens as Fly Control

Did you know that farmers can employ laying hens as a natural form of pest control agents in cattle pastures? The idea is that when chickens follow behind grazing animals, the bird's presence act to disrupt the life cycles of pest and parasites.  This simply comes down to taking advantage of biomimicry to harness the symbiotic relationships that exist between grazing animals and birds.
