Simply amazing... By far one of the best farms I have ever dealt with. Not only is their products top notch but their customer service is dead on.
During last pick up of chickens I was unable to make it during the pick up time. They were more than willing to accommodate and work within my schedule to arrange pick up. Also, any e-mails I send asking questions are answered within 48 hours and very professionally.
I definitely can not wait till fall when the two pigs I have ordered are completed and ready for pick up along with more chickens.

"Hi, Seven Sons:
I got my first order last fall, comprising half a pig, 10 chickens, and a beef package. The pork is outstanding: flavorful, tender and fairly low in fat. The beef was very satisfactory (we're not big beef eaters), I just got some for a change from pork.
But what I really want to rave about is the chickens. Unlike standard free-range chickens, your chickens have long legs and proportionally less breast meat. The texture of the meat is a balance between tender and substantial; even the breast meat is succulent and firm, rather than the dry mealy texture usual in chicken breast. The only thing I can compare them to is guinea hen I ate in France a couple of years ago--similar firm but tender meat with a lot of flavor. I had forgotten that chickens like these existed.
We made a meat loaf using 1lb bulk pork sausage and 1lb hamburger (plus breadcrumbs, spices, etc). It was absolutely delicious, great texture, flavor, moisture and fat balance."

Believe it or not, we haven't had the chance to try the steaks yet (lots of people here and not enough to go around... so we have to wait until the kids are off and doing their own thing for supper! *ha-ha*) but the hamburger patties are absolutely the most delicious we've ever had.
